The Brief
A London-based agency needed a roster of freelancers to support with a quick turnaround of social assets to promote the upcoming FIFA 2026 World Cup ticket launch. The brief was to design and animate a fictional NFT Series to drum up excitement for fans.
Each NFT digital card needed to display key stats and positions and, importantly, they wanted to whole project to feel premium, utilising 3D depth and metallic shaders to mimic rare foil cards.
Each layer was split into 5 pieces in Photoshop to create the 3D effect.

The Story
Football fandom is evolving. It’s no longer just about the 90 minutes on the pitch; it’s about the digital ecosystem that surrounds it. This project explores that intersection between the physical game and the digital future. From the tactile nostalgia of trading cards to the cinematic grandeur of the world's biggest tournament, the goal was to capture the "electric" feeling of football. By reimagining player profiles as premium NFTs and building hype for the 2026 World Cup, this project tells the story of the modern game - glitched, glowing, and undeniably global.

The Concept
The concept centres around an NFT montage, the aim was to translate the static nature of trading cards into dynamic 3D assets. Using Cinema 4D, I crafted holographic textures and lighting environments that make the cards feel like tangible, high-value collectibles, highlighting the player and their specific position on the field. For the FIFA World Cup 2026 teaser, the focus shifted to scale and atmosphere. I utilised After Effects to composite energetic motion graphics that build tension and excitement, creating high-octane energy for their socials. The impact? More than 4 million views!
